Bengaluru:The Congress is planning a massive event on April 5 to avenge the disqualification of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi from the venue of his speech in Karnataka, sources said on Tuesday. The party is reportedly planning to give Rahul Gandhi a speech from the same venue where he made the speech that led to his disqualification from the Lok Sabha seat in 2019.

Rahul Gandhi was convicted in a defamation case for his speech on Modi’s surname during the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. He had asked for votes for Congress candidate former Union Minister K.H. Muniyappa during a public rally at the Corporation Grounds of KGF. During his speech, Rahul Gandhi had referred to Nirav Modi, Lalit Modi, and Narendra Modi, saying, “all have the same surname and all are thieves. All these thieves have looted the country.”

The Congress believes that Rahul Gandhi’s disqualification was unjustified and wants to use the upcoming event to avenge it. Sources have confirmed that the party wants to organize the event at the same venue and use it to its advantage.

The event is expected to be a massive show of strength for the Congress in Karnataka, and the party is leaving no stone unturned to ensure its success. According to sources, Congress leaders from across the country will attend the event, and arrangements are being made to accommodate a large number of people.

The Congress is hoping that the event will help them regain some of the lost ground in Karnataka, where the party has been struggling to maintain its position in recent years. The state has been a stronghold of the BJP, which has been in power since 2008.

The Congress is also hoping to send a strong message to the BJP and the Modi government through the event. The party has been critical of the Modi government’s policies and has been at the forefront of the opposition’s campaign against the BJP.

The upcoming event is a crucial one for the Congress, and the party is leaving no stone unturned to ensure its success. The Congress hopes that the event will help them regain some of the lost ground in Karnataka and send a strong message to the BJP and the Modi government.
