New Delhi: The Reserve Bank Of India Has Warned That The Steps Being Taken By Many States To Reintroduce The Old Pension System (OPS) Are Risky And Such Decisions Could Derail The Economy.

The RBI Has Observed This In A Study Report Titled ‘State Finance: A Study Of Budget Of 2022-23’.

Recently, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh And Jharkhand Governments Have Informed The Central Government And PFRDA About Resuming The Old Pension System For Their State Employees. In This Background, Economic Experts And RBI Have Expressed Concern About This And Said That Such A Decision Will Not Only Have A Severe Impact On The Exchequer Of The States But Will Also Disrupt The Financial System.

Bengaluru: The single-member bench of the Karnataka High Court has rejected the anticipatory bail application filed by MLA Madal Virupakshappa from Channagiri constituency in Davangere district, who is the main accused in the bribery case, and the fear of arrest has started again for BJP MLAs.

A single member bench of the Karnataka High Court on Monday dismissed the anticipatory bail application filed by Madal Virupakshappa in connection with the bribery case. As a result, Virupakshappa faces the threat of arrest.

Madal’s son Prashant Madal was caught by Lokayukta police while accepting bribe. Later, the Lokayukta attack also took place on Davanagere residence of Madal Virupakshappa. There too crores of Rs. Cash was found. Later, Madal Virupakshappa, who went missing, appeared in public after getting bail. There was strong opposition to the hasty grant of bail to him. A letter was also written to the CJI.

Madal’s son Prashant, the Chief Accountant of the Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board, is accused of demanding bribes for awarding a tender for the supply of regular raw materials for Karnataka soap and detergent. During the Lokayukta raid, 2 thousand rupees were found in 3 bags at Virupakshappa’s office on Crescent Road, Bangalore. And Rs 500 currency notes were found.

He spoke while participating in the unveiling of the statues in front of Vidhana Soudha today.

Basaveshwara was the great ruler of this country, the philosopher who explained the importance of Kayaka. In which Bangalore the administration takes place. Which Bangalore is known internationally. Which city is called Silicon City, the statue of these two leaders should have been unveiled long ago in front of the city’s Vidanasoudha. I don’t blame anyone for that, he said.

The Prime Minister has preached the essence of equality to the society through Basaveshwara’s Anubhava Mantapa to the world. Basaveshwara’s statue is not only in front of Vidhana Soudha, it is in front of the High Court. Nada Prabhu Kempegowda built a city in an area where there is no river. He said that it was Kempegowda who built a market for all communities and actually implemented Basavanna’s ideals.

Belagavi: A stray dog attacked 8 people in the border district of Belagavi and people are cursing against the corporation officials.

A stray dog suddenly turned violent and bit more than eight people on Mandoli Road in Dwarka city of Belagavi on Saturday afternoon. A tense situation has developed at the impact site.

The Belagavi Municipal Corporation officials were informed about the dog attack and the team of experts assigned by the Municipal Corporation to catch the stray dog succeeded in catching it the same evening.

According to Belagavi City Corporation (BCC) sources, the dog was said to be suffering from rabies. All the injured have been told to get anti-rabies vaccine. Animal Husbandry Department officials said that the infected dog has been kept in a cage at a shelter in Srinagar.
